ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – FULL TIME GENERAL SUMMARY: The Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center, located in Central Falls, RI, is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. We are hiring for full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Answer agency phone calls 2. Pick up mail and sort at least once a week 3. Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers 4. Sorting through orders and inventorying items 5. Filing 6. Making copies 7. Additional duties necessary for the efficient operation of the agency SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and Word) 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 3. Ability to prioritize work 4. Organization and ability to multi-task 5.
